Yes, I deleted 11 "friends." Evidently, we have different meaning of friends. A friend to me is someone that talks to me on the phone or face-to-face at least once a month and someone that is not ashamed to be seen in public with another person.

A friend is someone that will tell you your faults and help you correct them, instead of talking about you behind your back. Some of the "friends" that added me I have never met, never will meet, nor some do I care to ever meet... while others I have not heard from in five (5) or more years... what a friend.

I like the internet, I enjoy being on the internet, and the internet helps diversify your life by meeting people from different religions and cultures. That is what the internet was meant for. I work at a computer shop, I spend my time on the internet reading about tech stuff, viruses, exploits, and other issues, so get over how much I use the internet. I have been invited to almost every friend, high school, college, religious, or other database you can think of.
